As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for ensuring the Material Handling Systems (MHE) and Retail Carton Erector run smoothly on a day-to-day basis by monitoring carton/tote movement and interacting with Carton/Tote flow when necessary. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Monitor and safely interact with the material handling equipment with use of computer systems (CORS). Operate and Monitor the Retail Carton Erector. Communicate and assist with and Maintenance and Operations Staff. Predict/React to Carton/Tote Flow and MHE Systems flow issues. Adheres to all safety procedures, all Federal, State and OSHA guidelines. Accomplish other duties as assigned to meet business needs. Work well in a team environment. WHAT YOU'LL NEED: Satisfy initial and ongoing systems training necessary for success within the role. Training provided by Maintenance Supervisors/Mechanics High School Diploma or equivalent (GED). Minimum twelve (12) months related experience in a warehouse environment or any equivalent combination of acceptable training, education, and experience. Oral and written communications skills. PC Skills: Microsoft office Meets deadlines, prioritizes appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure.
