About The Position

Come join our team as a Machine Operator! Are you looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a fast-growing company? This position is responsible for the setup, operation, and production of products in compliance with food safety standards within our food manufacturing plant . You will play a vital role in ensuring our high-quality plant-based products are processed and packaged efficiently.

Requirements

Ideally at least 1-year of manufacturing experience.
Experience with or ability to learn power industrial equipment.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and lift repeatedly (up to 50lbs).
Ability to work with your hands extensively and stand on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift.
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (hot, cold, wet, or humid) common in a food plant.
Basic English proficiency for reading, writing, and communicating.
Extremely reliable attendance and the drive to get work done independently.
Ability to start at 5:30 AM and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in food processing, manufacturing, or packaging is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Machine Setup & Operation: Perform machine setup, inspections, and operation of various machines within the food manufacturing process according to proper procedures.
Adjustments: Perform minor adjustments to equipment as needed to ensure smooth operation.
Sanitation & GMPs: Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), following all sanitation, process procedures, guidelines, and referencing SOPs where applicable.
Quality Control: Adhere to Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, including taking accurate weights and measurements to ensure product quality and efficiency.
Documentation: Read and understand production schedules and record information on standard production forms.
Teamwork: Cross-train and work in other departments as necessary.
Other duties as assigned.
