We are currently looking for a full-time Offline Die Cutter - Machine Operator to support production at our TC Huntley plant. As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for set-up, production and quality standards including food safety, product appearance, production efficiency. Training will be provided. Schedule: Evening shift, 3PM – 1AM. Monday through Thursday. Mandatory OT on Friday paid at time and a half. There is also a potential for this to transition to a 3rd shift, M - F 9PM - 5AM opportunity, based on business needs. Training: Training will be conducted on 1 st shift then you will transition. Competitive pay starting at $18.45/hr + $.55 shift differential on 2nd and a $1.25 shift differential on 3rd!

Requirements

  • Performs responsibilities to expected outcomes.

  • Work with Supervisor/Manager to define and resolve problems, as well as recommend improvement processes.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Operates machine to cut out parts of various specified shapes and sizes from different types of materials.
  • Proofread and understand all paperwork.
  • Positions dies into machine, inserts shims between die and push plate to set specified gap, and locks dies into position, using wrenches.
  • Places rolls of material in feed holders, turns knobs to synchronize action of feed rolls with die, and threads end of material through feed rolls and die for cutting.
  • Starts machine and inspects sample cuts to determine conformity to specifications.
  • Follow production quality standards, including food safety, product appearance, product cost, and production efficiency in compliance with all Federal, State, and Local guidelines, including: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration (OSHA) Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
