About The Position

Summary/Objective The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining machinery in a safe and efficient manner to support production goals. This role works closely with Molding and Printing technicians to ensure equipment is functioning properly, assisting with troubleshooting, minor repairs, and setup procedures. The ideal candidate demonstrates attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a collaborative mindset to help maintain smooth operations and minimize downtime. Essential Functions · Operate Machinery Safely and Efficiently Start, stop, and monitor machines during production runs. Under the guidance of Technicians and Supervisors, adjust machine settings as needed to maintain product quality. Perform/assist equipment changeovers as needed. · Assist Technicians and Maintenance with Equipment Maintenance Support technicians during troubleshooting and repairs. Help with machine setup, calibration, and routine maintenance tasks. · Inspect Products for Quality Assurance Perform visual and manual inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Report defects or inconsistencies to supervisors or technicians. · Maintain Clean and Organized Work Area Follow safety and housekeeping standards. Ensure tools and equipment are stored properly. · Document Production Activities Record machine performance, downtime, and maintenance activities. Complete production logs and quality checklists accurately. · Follow Safety Protocols and Company Policies Wear appropriate PPE and follow safety guidelines. Participate in safety training and report hazards promptly. · Communicate Effectively with Team Members Coordinate with technicians, supervisors, and other operators. Provide feedback on machine performance and production issues.
