About The Position
The Omega Machine Operator at Allied Stone is responsible for operating and overseeing Omega stone fabrication machinery to ensure precise cutting, shaping, and finishing of stone products. This role involves interpreting technical drawings, conducting machine setup, maintenance, troubleshooting, and enforcing safety and quality standards throughout production. Conduct regular maintenance on machines, troubleshoot problems, and ensure all equipment is in working order. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications. Enforce and maintain rigorous quality control processes throughout the production cycle. Enforce safety protocols and regulations, fostering a culture of safety within the team.
Requirements
- Proficient in the operation and operator-level maintenance of manufacturing machinery.
- Knowledge of quality control processes in a manufacturing setting.
- Technical understanding of Omega stone fabrication machines and related equipment.
- Attention to detail and precision in work.
- Troubleshooting skills for identifying and addressing machine issues promptly.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy stone materials.
- Stamina to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Dexterity and precision for operating machinery and handling stone products.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- Technical or vocational training in machine operation or a related field.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably in stone fabrication or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Technical understanding of Omega stone fabrication machines and related equipment.

- Previous experience in stone manufacturing.
