Machine Operator ER PR04 - Patty - 3rd Shift
About The Position
This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of the product through the production process. It involves ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are used on the line and sanitizing equipment. The role requires monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed, and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance. All tasks must be performed while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Essential skills include proficiency in reading and writing, the ability to complete on-the-job paperwork, and effective communication across all management levels.
Requirements
- Proficiency in reading and writing
- Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork
- Ability to effectively communicate across all management levels
- Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, squat, stretch, climb, push, pull and reach as required in all areas
- Willing and able to stand 8-10 hours on hard floors
- Willing and able to perform repetitive motions as required in many areas
- Willing and able to work in a cold, damp environment
- Willing and able to work on slippery walking surfaces
- Must be in current position for 90 days (Internal Requirement)
- Must have no suspensions or more than 3 written warnings within the past year (Internal Requirement)
- Team Members with four (4) or more attendance points at the time of application will be disqualified from consideration (Internal Requirement)
