Machine Operator
About The Position
Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of the company's product. Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Receives predetermined assignments subject to moderate level of control and review. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision.
Requirements
- Typically requires no previous related experience. Acquires job skills and learns company polices and procedures to complete routine tasks.
