Job Summary Must be able to operate machinery in the fabrication department to exacting tolerances. This position requires extreme attention to details and a thorough knowledge of the work procedures and component applications. Employee will be responsible for producing high quality parts for the next internal customer in the chain. Job Description

Requirements

• Minimum Read Blueprints
• Able to set up, read, and use various machining gauges; verniers, calipers, OD/ID mics etc.
• Read Tape Measure
• Basic Shop Math
• Ability to operate fork truck
• Ability to work independently
• Dependability
• Ability to set up and operate CNC and/or manual machining equipment
• Previous Machining Experience
• Basic computer skills
• General Metals Knowledge

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in CNC machining capacity
• High School diploma or GED
• Machining Certification
• Ability to work in a Team oriented setting
• Good Communication skills – Verbal & Written

Responsibilities

• Machine castings to blueprint specifications
• Operate CNC controls, drills, broach and lathes
• Comply with company quality and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area
• Perform other duties as assigned
