About The Position

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Regular and predictable attendance Operates welding machines Operates resistance welders Operates rollers Operates presses Operates high pressure testers Sets stops or guides to specified length as indicated by scale, rule, or template Positions work piece against stops or guides Pushes button or depresses pedal to activate machine Observes machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunction Measures work piece dimensions to determine accuracy of machine operation Performs minor machine maintenance such as oiling machines, dies, or work pieces Uses air drills and wire brushes to clean final product Packages final product Performs housekeeping tasks keeping work areas clean Additional duties may be assigned or removed, as business needs dictate
