About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you will play a key role in our production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate operation of machinery used to manufacture high-quality wet wipes and related products. This position is ideal for individuals who are mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment. Your contributions will directly impact product quality, production timelines, and overall operational success.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year of experience as a Machine Operator in a manufacturing or production setting; experience with Teknoweb or similar converting lines preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production machinery and mechanical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, SOPs, and equipment manuals.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high product quality.
  • Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods, and lift/move materials.
  • Effective problem-solving skills for identifying and resolving equipment issues.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Adherence to health, safety, and quality regulations.
  • Willingness to work occasional overtime to meet production demands.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and operate machinery for extended periods (8–12 hours).
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and manual handling of materials.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying temperatures, noise levels, and exposure to machinery.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • High school diploma or GED (required).

  • Technical or vocational training in manufacturing or mechanical systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and adjust Teknoweb converting lines to meet production specifications.
  • Monitor machine performance and make real-time adjustments to maintain product quality.
  • Inspect finished products and packaging to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Perform routine cleaning, minor repairs, and basic maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and escalate when necessary.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area.
  • Track material usage and notify supervisors of low inventory.
  • Complete production logs and maintenance records accurately.
  • Document any deviations or quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Assist with training new team members and support cross-training efforts.
  • Maintain attention to detail and a proactive approach to meeting production goals.
  • Participate in equipment and process training, and contribute ideas for improvement.
