Requirements

  • GED or equivalent
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Prior work experience in a warehouse setting.
  • Prior operation of manufacturing equipment/machine.
  • Ability to read, write, and interpret English paper works and work instructions without help.
  • Ability to move, pull, push, and lift up to 50lb of materials.
  • Ability to stand for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to sit for up to 10 hours.
  • Ability to follow rules.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to deal with work associated stresses.

Responsibilities

  • Safely and effectively operates and maintains assigned machine (s) or equipment (s) to produce quality products or processes.
  • Start up and shut down production line.
  • Perform minor changeovers in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Work on any process as assigned.
  • Complete required paperwork and checklists as required.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic to moderate operating difficulties.
  • Read and understand work manuals and directions.
  • Determine quality ranges.
  • Coordinate with setup and maintenance technicians for setups and maintenance of equipment/machine to minimize production and machine downtimes.
  • Clearly identify, monitor, and maintain inventory of all WIPs, materials, tooling, and finished products used in the cell.
  • Ensure adequate supply of raw materials and communicate resource requirements for replenishment.
  • Consistently monitor, measure, record, and adjust machines and other processes to maintain product consistency and appearance within specifications.
  • Willingness to work various hours including weekends, and holidays when needed to accommodate production needs.
