About The Position

Overview Set up machines according to drawing specifications. Responsibilities Must understand and follow all safety requirements for operating equipment Cut and modify materials according to layout Identify defective parts Must have knowledge of the operation on either the T-drill bender or tube spinner Support Lean Initiatives through 5S, 4I, LDMS, ACP’s RAT’s, etc. Perform other duties as assigned. Folding hex key set 12” Adjustable Wrench 8” Flat Bastard file Leverage Snips - Straight cut ½” Hex Key Center Finding Rule ¾” x 7/8”, Open End Wrench 1-1/4” width Padlock with Keys Jaw Pliers Qualifications High school or equivalent Must be able to read and interpret blue prints and drawings Must be able to use calipers and tape measures for measurements and must be able to read up to the 16th graduation. Must be able to perform preventive maintenance on the machines as specified. Must be willing to train on all equipment within the department Perform responsibilities with minimal supervision Must be able to work overtime Must be willing to cross-train.
