Shift Hours - 5:00am-5:00pm - Saturday, Sunday & Monday. Pay Rate: $25.35/hour + $3.00/hour Shift Premium = $28.35/hour. Job Summary: The Machine Operator I is responsible for operating machinery to manufacture products in a timely manner while fulfilling quality standards. The Machine Operator I will review work instructions, build product per specifications and within tolerances, complete all clean-up and housekeeping procedures, comply with all quality, safety and work rules and regulations including wearing all appropriate PPE. Requirements

  • High school Diploma or equivalent (GED).
  • 1 year of experience operating relevant machinery or equivalent.
  • Detail oriented and organized.
  • Work in a team environment in a professional manner.
  • Effectively communicate.
  • Utilize applicable hand tools with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently operate basic machinery independently at a defined rate with proper quality
  • Develop and maintain an understanding of the products they assemble and how they impact the business.
  • Continuous learning of the principles, practices, and processes of their job as changes require and similar jobs.
  • Proper lifting techniques, including overhead hoists/lift tables.
  • Communicate hazards and/or equipment issues with leadership.
  • Occasionally provide basic training to employees as needed.
  • Cross train in different areas within the department and flex to different stations as needed.
