Visit us at packaging.toppan.com Location: 11287 Kiley Drive, Huntley, IL Position: Machine Operator Hiring Manager: Department Manager Hours: 1st Shift – 7 AM – 3:00 PM Rate: $24.16/Hour Summary: With general supervision, sets-up the proper tooling needed in the thermoforming machines and operates the machines per job specifications. What you’ll be doing: Sets up thermoforming machines for operation per job specifications. Mounts dies and molds and loads rolls of raw materials into the machine. Engages machine to produce thermoformed parts and maintains continuous operation. Performs troubleshooting and quality control checks. Performs routine maintenance on thermoforming machines. Completes required job tickets. Works with Packer/Inspectors to resolve any quality issues as needed. Directs Packers/Inspectors to work in other areas when machine is down for troubleshooting or set up. Maintains a safe, clean and organized work area. Performs other work duties or functions as assigned. Requirements

  • experience as a skilled manufacturing operator
  • 6 months of machine operator experience
  • Ability to read, write, and perform math skills
  • Understanding of manufacturing and quality control
  • High school Diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • 6 months set up operator experience
  • 1-year previous production line experience preferred
