We are looking for a Machine Operator to join our Finishing Department—someone who is curious about how things work and is driven to deliver high-quality results. Your Role at Avery Dennison: As a Technical Pilot of our finishing assets, you will be responsible for the heartbeat of our production line. You won't just run a machine; you will master it.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of manufacturing experience.
  • Comfort with mechanical troubleshooting and computer applications.
  • Ability to maintain focus during high-pressure shifts and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A "Team Before Self" mindset—ready to support coworkers and share knowledge.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise machine setups and changeovers to meet production goals.
  • Identify root causes of malfunctions rather than applying "band-aid" fixes.
  • Inspect products against strict specifications to ensure a "zero-defect" output.
  • Maintain a safe environment and collaborate with your team to improve site health and efficiency.
  • Use forklifts and digital tools (MFG Pro) to manage material movement and data entry.
