About The Position

Machine Operator 3 Job Description: Title: Machine Operator 3 – Paint Job Code: M64105 Department: Paint, Print, Pack The Machine Operator - Paint is responsible for operating powdercoat (blades) and liquid (holesaw) paint equipment. Duties and Responsibilities · Set up, operate, and shut down paint line · Able to work in dust, vapors, etc. · Load/unload paint line with product · Recognize and react to problems with equipment, make adjustments as required · Inspect and verify product according to quality standards · Use paint thickness gauge to verify paint thickness · Hone turnover belt (powder application) · Perform daily Preventative Maintenance (PM) on paint line equipment · Inspect, clean, and change out tips on paint guns · Perform frequent walk-throughs to ensure equipment is operating properly · Change out and add paint as required · Check and clean re-claim hoppers · Maintain production pace and standards · Adhere to all safety requirements in the work area · Practice 5Ss Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Understand and follow verbal and written instructions · Basic math skills · Basic mechanical skills Education and Experience Requirements · High school diploma or equivalent · 1 year of machine operation experience preferred Milwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer. • High school diploma or equivalent
