What we are looking for: Pivotal Consulting is seeking an experienced M365 Solutions Developer to support a large-scale SharePoint migration initiative for a major airline client. This role involves migrating and rebuilding automation solutions leveraging Microsoft 365, Power Automate, and related Power Platform tools to modernize collaboration, workflows, and data management across enterprise teams. What you will do: Lead development and configuration efforts for SharePoint Online site migrations, content restructuring, and permissions redesign. Migrate, rebuild and enhance Power Automate flows for document routing, notifications, approvals, and other workflow processes. Integrate M365 components including Dataverse, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Power Apps within enterprise collaboration solutions. Collaborate with business analysts and project managers to migrate existing Power Platform solutions. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and documentation for all developed solutions. Ensure compliance with governance and security standards within the client’s M365 environment. Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to client stakeholders through training and handoff sessions. What makes you a good fit: Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 development and administration, including SharePoint Online and Power Platform. Deep knowledge of modern SPO information architecture: lists/libraries, content types, site columns, managed metadata, lookup relationships, views, and large list thresholds. Deep knowledge of SPO permissions: SharePoint groups vs. Entra ID (Azure AD) groups, unique permissions, role inheritance, and app/service account access. Experience with SPO/Graph REST APIs, webhooks, list schema provisioning, and site template automation. Hands-on experience with tenant-to-tenant (or cross‑environment) SPO migrations and URL/re‑architecture impacts. Solid understanding of information architecture, permissions, and document lifecycle management. Builds solution-aware flows using connection references and environment variables for endpoints, site URLs, list IDs, and secrets. Comfortable with SharePoint triggers/actions, approvals, child flows, concurrency, retry policies, idempotency, pagination. Robust error handling: Scope-based try/catch/finally, alerting (Teams/Email), and re-run/recovery strategies. Experience migrating or re‑provisioning Forms (personal → group), exporting/importing responses, and re-pointing downstream flows to new Form IDs. Ability to recommend when to replace Forms with Power Apps for governance, validation, and lifecycle control. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills. Preferred Experience Airline or large enterprise project experience. Knowledge of Power BI, Dataverse, or custom connector development. Microsoft certifications in M365 or Power Platform. W2 plus benefits; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, candidate location, and experience.
