About The Position

We are seeking a M365 Administrator to support and administer GCONs Microsoft 365 environment, with a primary focus on SharePoint Online and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) . This role supports collaboration, identity, and access management for office and field users and works closely with senior IT staff to continuously improve the modern workplace experience. This role is ideal for an IT professional who enjoys working with cloud-based collaboration platforms and identity services and is looking to grow into a senior Microsoft 365 or Modern Workplace engineering role. Requirements

  • 24 years of experience in M365 administration
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Entra ID .
  • Understanding of cloud identity, permissions, and collaboration concepts.
  • Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting hybrid or remote work environments.
  • Exposure to conditional access, MFA, and identity security concepts.
  • Basic PowerShell experience or interest in learning automation.
  • Microsoft certifications (MS-900, AZ-900, SC-900, or similar).
  • Experience supporting construction, engineering, or field-based users.

Responsibilities

  • Administer SharePoint Online sites, permissions, document libraries, and collaboration structures.
  • Support Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online administration and troubleshooting.
  • Collaborate with departments and project teams to design and continuously improve SharePoint site organization, governance standards, and best practices.
  • Administer user accounts, groups, licenses, and role assignments in Microsoft Entra ID .
  • Enforce identity lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, access changes, and MFA enrollment.
  • Troubleshoot authentication, access, and permissions issues across Microsoft 365 services.
  • Implement identity and access best practices, including least-privilege access and MFA.
  • Perform access reviews, documentation, and audit-related activities.
  • Maintain system documentation and support compliance efforts related to identity and collaboration platforms.
  • Provide customer support for Microsoft 365related issues escalated from the service desk.
  • Maintain documentation, SOPs, and internal knowledge base articles.
  • Identify opportunities to improve collaboration workflows, user experience, and self-service capabilities.
