About The Position

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) and Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) in Edinburg, TX and surrounding areas. The role involves providing direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home. Angels of Care has been serving the community since 2000, operating on core values of Heart, Advocacy, Love, Outreach, and Speed. Nurses will focus on the medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, conduct ongoing patient care and assessments, administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies, coordinate care, and educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes, while also implementing preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care for the patient.

Requirements

Active RN or LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
Provide care in a client home setting
Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!

Responsibilities

Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
Coordination of care.
Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes.
Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient.
