About The Position

Western Colorado Pediatrics- LPN/RN

Job Summary:
To provide initial patient care, charting, education to patients and to assist the physician when needed. To stock the exam rooms and to maintain clean facilities for patient care

Requirements

• Must be an LPN or RN who is capable of working nursing position
• caring personality with a positive attitude
• calm under pressure and exhibit sound judgment
• excellent time management and problem solving abilities
• good communication skills
• able to work as part of the back office team and must be accountable
• Must have knowledge of the proper use of medical and lab equipment
• Must be able to multi-task, capable and able to prioritize those tasks to keep doctor on schedule as much as possible

Nice To Haves

• previous medical office experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Patient Care
• Trauma assessment
• Triage patient calls
• Obtain and chart vital statistics and injections on patients
• Provide patient instruction and education materials
• Make and chart appointments for out-of-office exams
• Call patients on test results
• Do nebulizers, spirometry, ear lavage, catheterization as needed
• Assisting Physician
• Attend physicians on all pelvic and breast exams, and minor procedures
• Keep physician informed of his daily schedule
• Dispense oral or injectable meds at physician's direction

• Base pay $22.84-25.84
• Benefits (1) $7-8
• Total pay range with Benefits $29.84-32.84
