We are a premier continuing-care retirement community in Chapel Hill, NC, is seeking a compassionate and experienced LPN Nurse Supervisor to join our Assisted Living team on the 2nd shift. Requirements

Active LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license in the state of North Carolina.
Strong leadership, organizational, and effective communication skills.
Ability to work well in a team environment and demonstrate a compassionate attitude towards seniors.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Nice To Haves

Experience in geriatric nursing or senior living preferred.

Responsibilities

Supervision: Oversee and direct the daily work assignments of CNAs and Med Techs during your shift.
Resident Care: Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and provide direct nursing care as needed.
Assessment & Documentation: Conduct initial and follow-up assessments, document resident status, and report changes to physicians, families, and the Nurse Manager.
Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to emergencies, providing calm and effective leadership in high-pressure situations.
Care Planning: Collaborate with the care plan team to develop, implement, and ensure adherence to comprehensive resident care plans.
Compliance: Ensure that all staff follow established safety regulations, facility policies, and state/federal guidelines.
