This position is a full time position managing the Home Nursing and Medical Staffing services for the agency. This position is responsible for overseeing the nursing care and nursing staff placed within homes and facilities and reports directly to the Nurse Supervisor. This position requires the ability to multi-task and problem solve. In addition, this also requires skills in effective communication, team building, and excellent customer service. This individual will be working with internal office staff, external staff (including caregivers and nurses) as well as clients and family members. This requires the ability to focus on detail oriented tasks, project manage larger agency initiatives and ensure documentation across the board in Clearcare.

Requirements

  • Licensed nurse, active nursing license in the state of Illinois required.
  • Ability to handle multiple and changing priorities is required.
  • Proven track record in managing a team.
  • Possesses outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to project manage multiple tasks initiatives being worked on in the office.
  • Self-directed, independent worker.
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally and in written form with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public.
  • Must have compassion and desire to work with healthcare clients.
  • Must meet all health requirements including TB and background check.
