About The Position

This full-time LPN position at Hanna House 3 Inpatient Acute Care department involves providing safe, efficient, and age-specific nursing care to patients and their families. The role requires adherence to the professional standards set by the Ohio Board of Nursing, including completing and submitting all necessary documentation. The LPN is expected to deliver effective relationship-based nursing care, demonstrate technical skills for safe practice and positive outcomes, and ensure clear communication and collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. The position also involves professional development and displaying leadership to influence clinical and operational outcomes. The LPN must comply with all company policies and standards, including those related to maintaining Protected Health Information (PHI). The work schedule is a day/night rotation with 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM for day shift and 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for night shift). The role is eligible for an Additional Regular Compensation (ARC) program, providing an extra $2.00 per hour.

Requirements

  • Completion of accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program required.
  • 2+ years Nursing Experience (Level II only) required.
  • Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio board of nursing.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Ohio and/or Multi State Compact License Required Upon Hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Upon Hire.

Nice To Haves

  • Level II Only: 18 CNE's per year.
  • Level II Only: 3 CNE’s in clinical specialty.
  • Level II Only: At least 5 CNE’s in Leadership.
  • Level II Only: Other CNE requirements will be agreed upon with manager.
  • Level II Only: 3 Peer Reviews.
  • Level II Only: Committee Involvement.
  • Level II Only: 5 criteria with evidence of each.

Responsibilities

  • Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
  • Functions in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio board of nursing.
  • Completes/submits required documentation.
  • Delivers effective relationship based nursing care.
  • Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
  • Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
  • Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing.
  • Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • Abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.

Benefits
