About The Position

Works under general supervision to assist, receive training, and acquire working knowledge of each department's areas of responsibilities. Specific duties will depend upon the goals of the training program and the intern's qualifications. Duties may include, but are not limited to: analyzing data, performing laboratory experiments, and/or auditing research charts and entering data. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Enrolled in an academic institution as either an undergraduate or graduate student
• Must be in good standing academically
• Intern is expected to take appropriate safety and compliance training as determined by his/her home department and UT Southwestern policy
• No experience required

Responsibilities

• Assist, receive training, and acquire working knowledge of each department's areas of responsibilities
• Analyze data
• Perform laboratory experiments
• Audit research charts and enter data
• Perform other duties as assigned
