Hospice House LPN (PRN)

As an LPN at MercyOne, you will support and provide safe, effective, and culturally competent care for clinic patients and families under the supervision of a registered nurse or practitioner.
Requirements
- Highschool Plus Additional course work up to 1 year in nursing
- Licensed Practical Nurse in Iowa or Illinois required upon Hire
- Second State License required in 12 months
- Basic Life Support
- Less than one year experience Required
Nice To Haves
- Training in ICD, CPT, Best Practices for Immunizations preferred
Responsibilities
- Assisting the practitioner during procedures
- Communicating patient data for planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
- Using critical thinking skills and evidence-based practice
- Supporting Professional Practice Standards as defined by American Academy of Ambulatory Care Nursing (AAACN)
- Actively participating in quality monitoring
