About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse, Health Educator hired will perform work assigned by R.N., Director of Public Health Nursing consistent with Public Health Nursing Mission Statement, Goals and Objectives. The LPN, Health Educator will promote health and provide education prevention of chronic diseases for the community members who reside within the boundaries of Osage Nation Service Area. The successful L.P.N. will perform the duties of an LPN under the guidance of the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act. Requirements

Must have completed a recognized L.P.N. Program and obtained a current, unrestricted nursing license.
1 or more years of clinical nursing experience
Intermediate proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft office suites
Willing and able to stoop, bend, and lift to 50lbs daily
Must possess a good working knowledge of normal values of health assessment
Requires excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record - may be required to drive GSA or tribal vehicles
Requires a high level of personal integrity and ethics
Must always maintain confidentiality
Must be able to pass a criminal background check and alcohol/drug screening test
