The consultant will be responsible for scheduling and conducting on-site surveys, then generating risk evaluation and risk improvement reports for clients. These reports are crucial for underwriting commercial insurance policies and may include recommendations to mitigate potential loss-producing conditions. The role requires managing accepted assignments, securing customer appointments within a local territory, and completing work assignments on time. Consultants may also engage in special projects or more complex risk evaluation surveys, leveraging their education, certifications, and risk control expertise. The scope of work involves assessing risks for various commercial insurance lines, including Property, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Auto/Fleet, Products Liability, Inland Marine, and Builders Risk, across a diverse range of businesses from retail and restaurants to manufacturing and construction sites. Consultants will operate from their home or office and travel to local commercial business operations.
