About The Position

A Facilities Supervisor is someone who is passionate about improving the look and feel of the facility. Facilities Supervisors are adaptive, organized, and manage their time effectively on multiple facility projects.

At least one year of leadership experience.
Experience with routine facility inspections;
Experience with tracking and analyzing data management;
Experience communicating with contractors;
Can perform patch and paint of drywall;
Proficient with repair tools and techniques;
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, have visual acuity in order to operate machinery, work in a variety of physical conditions, and follow all required safety procedures;
Knowledge of the climbing industry;
Top rope & lead belay climbing experience;
Knowledge of Google Suite – Gmail, Sheets, Docs, Drive, etc.;
Knowledge of Rock Gym Pro software;
Knowledge of Basecamp;
Experience coaching and instructing.
Must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per work week;
Must be available to work mornings during weekdays;
Meet with the Sender One Facility Manager once a week;
Meet with the Gym Manager once a week;
Must be able to attend the Mandatory All Staff meeting.

Nice To Haves

Experience with CWA work at height standards and appropriate PPE preferred;
Experience with basic electrical and plumbing maintenance

Responsibilities

Executes tasks and has overall responsibility related to general upkeep and maintenance of a single Sender One facility at the direction of the Facilities Manager;
Oversees ongoing execution of services & maintenance such as cleaning, equipment maintenance, heating/air conditioning, etc;
Finds and implements improvements for methods of maintenance and inspection tasks;
Communicates frequently in person, by phone, email, and through Basecamp with the Facilities team regarding Project updates and completions, gym cleanliness, and progress to Performance Review goals;
Supervise facilities staff and external contractors (e.g. custodians, technicians, groundskeepers etc.);
Acts as the key point of accountability for any ongoing facilities/maintenance projects;
Maintain all current policies and procedures concerned with customer facing cleanliness and sanitation including but not limited to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE);
Work closely with the Risk & Safety team to ensure the facilities meet or exceed risk, accessibility, and state & other organizational compliance standards;
Investigate incidents and coordinate efforts with the Risk & Safety team to implement, develop, and improve Risk & Safety policies and procedures;
Update and track the incident tracking database;
Manage facility inspections, equipment inventory, and the replacement of protective equipment;
Ability to lead and train Risk & Safety and/or Facilities topics to staff;
Maintains a good rapport and occasionally works with other departments including, but not limited to, the Customer Experience and Route Setting teams;
Embodies Sender One core values, setting the standard for the rest of Sender One staff;
