Long Term Substitute - NH Teacher Certification is required Estimated dates: January 5, 2026 - March 13, 2026 Subject: High School Math Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Requirements as set by the State of New Hampshire Certification Authorities and Board of School Committee regulations. State of NH Teacher Certification in Upper Level Math (1100) or other approved certification status may be considered. Primary Responsibilities of the Position: Classroom Management Create a positive, safe, and productive classroom environment. Establish and enforce rules, procedures, and expectations for behavior. Planning and Delivering Instruction Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards. Teach core subjects such as reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Use a variety of teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs and learning styles. Assessment and Progress Monitoring Evaluate student performance through tests, quizzes, assignments, and observations. Track and report student progress to parents and school administrators. Use assessment data to guide instruction and provide targeted support. Communication and Collaboration Collaborate with colleagues, specialists, and support staff to enhance student learning. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress. Supporting Student Development Foster social-emotional growth and encourage a love of learning. Identify and address individual student needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans, and multilingual learners. Salary: Per Diem rate based off MEA teacher's contract for experience & degree, must be NHDOE certified. $16.43/hr until per diem rate is applied.
