Job Overview: The Logistics Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely and economical shipment of consignments while adhering to the ICH E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of import/export regulations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, frequent standing and walking, occasional sitting, close eye work requirement (computer, typing, reading small prints).
• Physical demands vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
• Occasional exposure to cold temperatures.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and organization.
• Capability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Proven ability to build effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.

Responsibilities

• Operate courier systems to prepare package address labels, invoices, and related documentation accurately and on time.
• Verify and maintain shipping machine address databanks using QLIMS and perform quality control on shipping documentation.
• Check shipments against manifests for accuracy and completeness.
• Monitor inventory levels of shipping supplies and notify supervisors when minimum levels are reached.
• Ensure all paperwork generated by photocopying maintains a professional appearance.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area to support efficient operations.
