The Logistics Technician I will be an integral part of this team, handling various logistics functions to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English, and demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Nice To Haves

  • A background in shipping and receiving is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Package and prepare products for shipment per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
  • Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
  • Occasionally be asked to drive and/or deliver parts from one plant/building to another.
  • Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
  • Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
  • Material movement throughout the shop
  • Inventory stocking.
