As a Logistics Technician I, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the movement, packaging, and receiving of products and materials.

Requirements

Demonstrated ability to understand and apply all verbal, written and computer work instructions or training in English.
Demonstrated ability to perform simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or GED preferred.
A background in shipping and receiving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Package and prepare products for shipment per written and/or verbal instructions; includes coordination and scheduling delivery with trucking companies.
Ensure the cleanliness of parts prior to packaging.
Receive products and materials from vendors, customers, and subsidiaries.
Occasionally be asked to drive and/or deliver parts from one plant/building to another.
Ensure proper labeling and packaging to comply with contractual requirements, appropriate documentation completion before and after shipments.
Maintain traceability of materials, including verifying that material matches vendor documentation and marking materials with trace numbers.
Material movement throughout the shop
Inventory stocking.
