About The Position

Manage spare parts inventory operations supporting maintenance and operational reliability at our LNG facility. Optimize inventory levels, ensure critical parts availability, and minimize equipment downtime through strategic material management and SAP system expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Associate degree in relevant technical discipline, or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years relevant work experience in inventory management, supply chain, or maintenance support
  • Valid TWIC card in good standing
  • Current valid state-issued driver's license (DOT covered position)
  • Hands-on experience with SAP inventory management systems
  • Strong understanding of maintenance processes and equipment components
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and P&IDs
  • Proficiency in CMMS (SAP S4 Hana), data analytics tools, and reliability software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Proven ability to work in high-pressure environments and make critical decisions
  • Self-starter capable of working strategically with minimal direction
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build effective team environments
  • Exceptional attention to detail and focus on exceeding performance parameters

Nice To Haves

  • Background in petroleum, chemical manufacturing, or LNG facility operations
  • Knowledge and experience in Supply Chain, Maintenance, or Engineering functions

Responsibilities

  • Review and update Bill of Materials (BOMs) and equipment part lists in SAP to reflect current configurations
  • Coordinate with Maintenance, Reliability, Procurement, and Warehouse teams to ensure spare parts availability and visibility
  • Identify and implement preservation methods and requirements for materials
  • Identify obsolete and surplus inventory; recommend strategic disposition plans
  • Ensure compliance with industry and site standards across all material management processes
  • Drive Material Inventory Optimization improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Maintenance to optimize material lifecycle management
  • Standardize formats and data capture for material details across GPLNG operations
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and local regulations
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with audit requirements
  • Prepare and review inspection and certification reports
  • Support documentation requirements for regulatory compliance
  • Coach engineers and technicians on material management best practices
  • Explore and implement digital tools for equipment health monitoring
  • Drive technology adoption to enhance inventory visibility and control
