Logistic Manager personnel in Senior skill levels must have life cycle logistics knowledge and experience in support of aircraft and systems, DoD experience is preferred. These personnel will also have a working experience and knowledge of a wide variety of logistics support activities. These activities include, but are not limited to, integrated logistics elements and support functions necessary to sustain the readiness and operational capability of a system, to include all the logistics elements of manpower and personnel, technical data, facilities, maintenance planning, supply support, and computer resource support for acquisition and sustainment planning. These personnel will demonstrate a working knowledge of program planning, funding, and logistics management information systems. The Contractor will demonstrate skills in analyzing, evaluating, interpreting readiness factors and formulating procedural solutions to problems. The Contractor will assist the Government with support of the HC-130J systems and programs. Contractor personnel will assist in the coordination and integration of numerous activities and functions to maintain weapon systems at an optimum state of readiness and provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). The Contractor will provide support for planning, logistic analysis, and coordination for all Integrated Logistics Support elements to include: (1) the maintenance plan, (2) manpower and personnel, (3) supply support, (4) support and test equipment, (5) training and training devices, (6) technical data, (7) computer resources support, to include software management support, (8) packaging, handling, storage, and transportation, and (9) facilities throughout the acquisition and sustainment of the weapon system. The Contractor will provide support in a variety of direct and indirect activities including but not limited to: milestone planning, logistics studies, working group support, supply support, logistics analysis, depot liaison support, administrative services, technical order support/research, source data package support, and Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) documents, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), Life Cycle Management Plan (LCMP) and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortage (DMSMS) management plans. The Contractor will assist the Government with providing studies and analysis including but not limited to life cycle cost analyses, supportability analyses, and budget/cost analyses in support of the HC10J. The Contractor will coordinate with various DoD agencies, including but not limited to the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), to support resolving parts availability issues and will provide expertise in supply processes and present solutions to the Government PM.
