About The Position

The Logistics Specialist has responsibility for managing and maintaining inventory of tools and equipment to ensure they are in proper working condition. This role is also responsible for the execution of deliveries and supporting project personnel with the fulfillment of tool-related material requisitions, consumables and other support services as may be requested.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Valid driver's license with clean record
  • Forklift certification required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Attention to detail
  • Basic Microsoft Office-Word and Excel skills
  • Basic organization and planning skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • CDL license and first-aid certifications preferred

Responsibilities

  • Purchases tools and equipment as requested by manager. Prepares tool orders as requested.
  • Drives and delivers tools and equipment to locations as needed.
  • Ensures tools and equipment are in proper order. Performs general maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Performs shipping and handling duties to include driving a forklift, loading and unloading trucks and receiving deliveries.
  • Performs general building maintenance, including moving office supplies between buildings, yard work such as leaf blowing, garbage removal, and sweeping, as well as installing or hanging fixtures.
  • Conducts general inventory and stocks shelves as necessary. Informs manager of items that need to be reordered.
