About The Position

Logistics Specialist - Dispensing Location: Portsmouth, NH onsite This position is based on site at our Portsmouth facility on the following bi-weekly shift schedule, either days or nights. Week 1: Sun, Wed, Thurs Week 2: Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat The Logistics Specialist II will be required to perform and monitor all dispensing processes and weighs, including liquid, powder (hazardous and non-hazardous), acids and bases. All processes will be completed per cGMP guidelines to support the manufacture of therapeutic proteins (API). What you will do: • All tasks will be completed while gowned and wearing required PPE while working in a Class C environment. • Attain a basic understanding of cGMP compliance while training under close supervision, demonstrating aseptic technique and cross contamination awareness in handling of products and materials. • Follow and adhere to all written procedures (SOPs), monitor equipment and processes, perform basic laboratory tasks, including pH, conductivity, and sampling as required. • Execute process recipes. • Qualify for all assigned tasks and maintain individual training plan. • Qualify for and perform required functions and scheduled cleans on all Dispensing equipment through routine cleaning and sanitization. • Perform peer, First Level Reviews of completed eDispense orders/kits, upon completion of WBT and LQM/PM signoff by area trainer. • Report to production via written and electronic documents in accordance with current good manufacturing practice (cGMP) and good documentation practice (GDPs). Complete documentation reviews as appropriate. • Performs other duties as they are assigned to support Logistics Team. What you will bring to Lonza: HS required, Associate's degree preferred, and/or equivalent experience related to Dispensing Technician work. Ability to safely lift an excess of 25 lbs. Ability to wear required PPE during shift. Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Abide by the specified requirements, including gowning throughout the shift. Works as an active member of team. Possesses critical thinking skills and decision-making abilities. Excellent work record (includes tardiness and absenteeism record).
