About The Position

As a Logistics Specialist you will support the our partners in organizing events that will be seen by huge numbers of people. This role will require a keen eye for inventory, ordering, shipping/receiving, and communicating with partners and customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in event planning or logistical organization.

Requirements

  • Job requires the ability to be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constant walking and standing, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, stooping, etc., as needed. Work environment varies.
  • Positive can do attitude in high stress, fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and Mac OS, Google suite of products.
  • Able to operate a forklift (We will provide cert).
  • Holds a valid California Driver's license with a clean (approval) record.
  • Availability to support outside of normal business hours, including weekends, and as part of an on-call rotation.
  • Be eligible, willing and able to work and travel globally when required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience and knowledge about using any vendor shipping software to initiate shipment is preferred but not essential.
  • Experience in a startup environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all inventory of service partners’ tech and accessories with an inventory management system.
  • Conducting inbound/outbound services, which include packing, shipping/receiving and processing equipment from suppliers and various sites.
  • Accurately pick and pull orders in preparation to ship.
  • Efficiently receive and stock inventory.
  • Tasks (our internal ticketing system) maintenance.
  • Communicate with service partners for all logistics needs, including updates, through email and chat platforms.
  • Work cross functionally with IT and Logistics to ensure consistent process.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • General warehouse organization and maintenance.
  • Execute on creation of package lists and carnet documentation.
  • Report process gaps, blockers, system bugs in a timely manner.
  • Maintain compliance on all SOPs within SLAs as defined by client.
  • Attend all team meetings, engage in monthly 1:1 with management.
  • Any other projects assigned by management.
  • Occasionally travel to off-site events manage load in and load out, as well as all inventory on site (locally, domestically, and internationally).
