About The Position

The Logistics Smart Hands technician supports the day-to-day logistics, inventory, and quality control operations of the Lumibuild Logistics team. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment is properly received, tested, tracked, and prepared for deployment across client projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, hands-on, and comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse and technical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare outgoing shipments, including those with special requirements (expedited, white glove delivery requirements).
  • Receive and inspect incoming goods for damage, accuracy, and compliance with purchase orders.
  • Perform functional testing on displays upon arrival.
  • Initiate internal RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) processes for defective or damaged displays.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using internal inventory management systems.
  • Conduct and schedule routine inventory audits to ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage and track client-specific inventory allocations.
  • Ensure proper labeling and organization of all assets.
  • Ensure consumable pack out kits are fully stocked, organized, and deployment-ready.
  • Inspect asset tools regularly for damage or wear.
  • Maintain tool readiness, including charging batteries and verifying functionality.
  • Track asset tools through ticketing systems and coordinate with team members for timely pickup and return.
  • Assist with unloading company vehicles after field pickups.
  • Sort and return equipment to designated storage locations.
  • Re-stock and audit consumables inventory to maintain operational readiness and assist with consumables purchases through our preferred partners.
  • Lead kitting operations for large-scale or high-priority project deployments.
  • Capture and document serial numbers and MAC addresses for deployed equipment.
  • Assist with transferring long-term project inventory between warehouse locations.
  • Support the Logistics Manager with special projects and operational initiatives.
