About The Position

The Logistics Service Technician I is responsible for coordinating and executing the flow of materials and products within the facility while ensuring that orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This role involves a combination of administrative and hands-on tasks, including inventory management, order processing, and general facility maintenance. In addition, the LST I will be responsible for performing functional testing of non-life sustaining medical equipment to ensure that it is operating correctly and meets all quality standards. This role requires proficiency with data entry on cloud-based programs and operating a forklift. This position reports to a climate-controlled facility.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a facility or logistics environment preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office) and experience with cloud-based programs
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including on-call rotation, evenings and weekends as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating a forklift preferred.
  • Familiarity with testing and quality control procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track the movement of materials and products within the facility using cloud-based programs.
  • Load outgoing trucks and unload incoming trucks.
  • Support with periodic physical counts of supply inventory.
  • Receive and clean returned inventory.
  • Perform contents verification.
  • Perform and document functional testing of non-life sustaining medical equipment to ensure that it is operating correctly and meets all quality standards.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility as needed.
  • Operate scissor lift and pallet jack as needed.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
  • Read and follow work instructions.
  • Assume other duties as assigned by supervisor.
