The core responsibilities of this role include: Assisting the Account Management team with order creation and data entry in our Transportation Management System. Scheduling pick-up and delivery appointments via phone call, email correspondence, and web portals. Answering phone and email customer service inquiries. Other ad hoc customer service support as needed. Position: Logistics Operations Coordinator Shift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm Pay: $18/hour In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience: Intermediate Microsoft Office Skills. Oral and written communication skills. Ability to multi-task across a variety of customer needs. Accurate data entry. High levels of customer service. Shape your world. Role Purpose: Assist in coordinating truck, rail, and international shipments. Provide communication to both shippers and carriers. Assist in coordinating and providing problem-solving and order management for customers. Key Accountabilities: Assist in coordination of export/import shipments. Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and tender shipments. Track and trace all shipments. Update and maintain Transportation Management System(s) - SAP. Prepare and publish daily, weekly reports. Obtain data to assist in analysis on performance trends. Proactively identify problems to management. Answer and resolve basic billing questions when needed. Prepare client invoice packets Confirm rates with carriers.
