The Defense Sector, Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos is thrilled to offer a unique opportunity for a Logistics Manager to join our team. If you have a passion for logistics and a desire to support critical Air Force systems, this is the perfect role for you. We are hiring a Logistics Manager to support a large, complex, nationally significant development and integration program. As the prime contractor, Leidos will drive performance optimization in achieving mission outcomes through efficient design, build, fielding and transition-to-operations. This position is a remote position and will require some travel. Primary Responsibilities: You will be responsible for providing logistics expertise and support to a program that is developing and designing a network infrastructure and data transport in an OCONUS location. You will be working with a team of multi-disciplined engineers, cyber security engineers and officers, quality engineers, and architects that are performing systems requirements analysis, integration, system testing, and quality assurance to support the successful delivery of the TACMOR network services. In the role you will: Be responsible for planning, controlling, and optimizing our hardware and software, planning and managing the tracking and control of all our equipment Coordinate and work with our configuration management team to ensure baselines are maintained Perform inventory audits at CONUS and OCONUS sites as required Be responsible for logistics and transportation planning and execution for international shipment of goods to locations that require knowledge of international export control laws Be the primary interface with manufacturing and warehouse facilities for the storage, accountability, and shipment of equipment to various locations Assist with the development and execution of our Lifecycle Sustainment Plan for the multiple systems we are developing and maintaining until transition to operations Generate documentation and training

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in logistics management or any bachelor's degree of art or science and 8+ years of prior relevant experience, or 15 years of experience without a degree.
  • Implementing and managing systems to optimize the flow of resources through the supply chain
  • A strong working knowledge of international export and transportation laws
  • Experience with shipping methods both on land and sea
  • Experience with logistics support for personnel in remote, unmanned locations
  • Experience with maintaining records for end of service, end of warranty, end of maintenance
  • Experience with the storage, handling, and distribution of equipment within a warehouse facility
  • Experience with controlling the procurement, storage, and distribution of materials to support production and operations at both CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Experience with contracting for shipments and delivery to remote locations
  • Must be a US Citizen and actively possess a DoD Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working with Eracent
  • Experience with AF logistics processes and policies
  • Experience with Operational Air Force or Space Force systems
  • Prior experience as an AF logistician
  • Master’s Degree in Logistics Management
