Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Finance preferred, with practical application in a manufacturing or plant logistics environment.
  • 3–5 years of logistics or supply chain experience within a manufacturing organization; chemical or regulated industry experience preferred, including support of international shipments.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP for logistics, shipping, and inventory transactions; SAP experience strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of IATA, IMDG, and 49 CFR/DOT regulations preferred, with experience ensuring compliant domestic and international freight movements.

Nice To Haves

  • APICS CLTD certification preferred, demonstrating strong knowledge of logistics best practices and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and steers logistics strategy globally/ regionally
  • Identifies upside potentials from the new logistics market trends
  • Is responsible for ongoing monitoring of logistics and warehousing footprint with strong alignment to manufacturing footprint
  • Drives continuous improvement with the logistics team to deliver targets and ensures relevant processes in place to accomplish objectives
  • Monitors and manages services KPIs of CS and third party service providers
  • Provides leadership and compliance with SHE regulatory for transport and warehouse operations
  • Steers digitalization as a competitive edge
  • Develops Global process standard to fit market requirement in terms of systems, organization, roles / effort allocation
  • Manages performance and measures the impact of the digitized supply chain with the help of big data, KPIs and integrated systems
  • Active representation of Henkel logistics within market, in national and international, internal and external bodies and working groups
  • Designs and establishes best in class procedures that enable Henkel to move to the next level
