About The Position

As a Logistics Coordinator at Pacific Union Co., you will be responsible for managing various aspects of our fulfillment related operations, including order fulfillment coordination and processing, as well as cross-functional collaboration with other operations teams, carriers, service providers and the broader organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Wine Business Administration, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of wine business operations, including order processing, vendor management & procurement, inventory management, and order shipping + fulfillment.
  • Proficiency in using logistics and supply chain management software and tools such as FedEx Ship Manager, ShipCompliant, AfterShip, Microsoft Suite, etc.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Physical requirements: Lift and handle materials weighing up to 40 pounds. Work requires sitting/standing and occasional exposure to cool temperatures. Grasp, stoop, squat, climb stairs, push, or pull, carry, and reach over shoulder.

Responsibilities

  • Order Processing: Efficiently manage the end-to-end order processing for Trade partners and DTC patrons of Harlan Estate, BOND, Promontory and The Mascot, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment while exceeding expectations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams - including Trade Associate, IT, Patron Relations, and Finance - to fine tune processes and optimize fulfillment schedules. Support and champion key initiatives involving teams outside of Logistics, driving them from concept through execution. Track key metrics to measure success and suggest meaningful improvements.
  • Carrier Operations: Monitor carrier adherence to logistics & fulfillment processes, always looking for and sharing opportunities to improve & refine them, and document where needed.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all operations adhere to relevant regulations, industry requirements and internal policies, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements within the logistics department, implementing best practices to drive operational excellence. This includes data optimization, analysis, and related implementation of process improvements when applicable.
