About The Position

Are you a logistics leader with a passion for efficiency and innovation? Join our team as a Logistics Director at our new fabrication and modular manufacturing site! This is a high-impact role where you will oversee logistics operations, manage a team, and drive efficiency in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Position Details Oversee vehicle traffic and shipments in and out of the facility. Manage local logistics movements between on-campus facilities. Drive efficiency and innovation in logistics processes. Evaluate and provide feedback on vendor performance to optimize operations. Partner with operations to manage inbound shipments from international suppliers. Be a key player in an innovative modular construction environment. Lead and develop a team that drives efficiency and operational success. Work with a company that values agility, collaboration, and professional growth. Lead a team of 4-5 Managers, each managing unionized crews of 12-15 members. Foster a collaborative, team-oriented work environment focused on high performance. Ensure efficient handling of large shipment volumes while maintaining operational excellence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of logistics experience, including team leadership.
  • Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a union environment (preferred).
  • Background in FedEx or DSL logistics is a plus.
