A Day in the Life The Logistics Director is responsible for designing and managing transportation strategies that ensure the timely, cost-effective, and compliant movement of raw materials and finished goods within a manufacturing supply chain. This role oversees inbound and outbound transportation operations, optimizes carrier networks, and ensures alignment with production schedules to minimize downtime and maintain customer delivery commitments. The Transportation Director collaborates with procurement, production planning, and distribution teams to drive efficiency, reduce costs, and support continuous improvement initiatives across the transportation network. This position is an exciting opportunity to work with Medtronic's Diabetes business. Medtronic has announced its intention to separate the Diabetes division to promote future growth and innovation within the business and reallocate investments and resources across Medtronic, subject to applicable information and consultation requirements.
