About The Position

Pella NC is growing and we invites you to join our team. Pella is a nationally known and respected brand of high quality Doors and Windows. We are looking for top talent to represent Pella throughout North Carolina. The Logistics Coordinator will act as a point of contact for all shipping orders and enquiries and ensure that customer interactions are handled in a proactive and professional manner at all times. The Logistics Coordinator will be expected to perform and complete daily operational tasks to meet and exceed customer expectations, in compliance with all relevant regulations and the targets of the Company.

Requirements

  • College degree desired, but not required.
  • A minimum of 3 years relevant work experience in a fast paced office environment.
  • Able to perform accurate work in a timely manner following Company policies.
  • Able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
  • Strong verbal and communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task while maintaining a high quality of work.
  • Able to work in team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for scheduling and routing deliveries for customers/installation/service.
  • Maintain a computer routing system.
  • Prepare all delivery/pick up documents for customers, drivers, and installers.
  • Utilize maps/internet tools/driver experience to insure efficient routing.
  • Coordinate with warehouse to make sure all product is assembled/prefinished prior to scheduling delivery and/or installation.
  • Review completed delivery documents for accuracy and follow up on any issues.
  • Process all returns (RGA’s) and keep bone pile inventory log current
  • Forward all documents to accounting for billing purposes.
  • Verify drivers/trucks are following DOT guidelines by reviewing driver/truck logs
  • Support the administrative efforts of the management team as directed.
  • Other duties as directed by Management.
