Barfield is more than just a prestigious name in the industry: it is subsidiary of Air France Industries KLM Engineering We are looking to hire a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team and will support our Shipping/Receiving department.

Requirements

High school diploma, and one to three months experience with using FedEx and UPS software, related experience and / or training.
Able to lift 30 pounds, and to maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards .
Able to read, write and communicate in English.
Be able to type and be computer literate.
High School diploma or GED
Basic computer knowledge and detail-oriented candidate
Able to follow written instructions from manuals or documents.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Pushing and pulling object in general
Available to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.

Nice To Haves

Previous Receiving, Stockroom & shipping, experience is a plus.
Previous Quantum experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, and scan computer records on incoming shipments
Type work orders and create work packages
Prepare items for shipment by inspecting, packing, & making entries into FedEx or UPS computer software and creating and applying labels as required
Receive packages from FedEx, UPS, and other Vendors on the dock
Compare incoming unit(s) to customer’s documentation (verifying part number, serial number,quantity, etc.)
Create Work Orders
Scan in all receiving documents
Verify required documents are in work order package
Identify proper packaging
Check for correct labeling
Prepare shipments for delivery through FEDEX / UPS systems and take to dock
Make records of all shipments
Close out Work Orders
File invoices
