About The Position

Logistics Coordinator Elizabeth, NJ Compensation Includes Starting Pay Rate of $21.63 - 26/hour OverviewResponsible for setting up delivery appointments and customer pickups. Notifying customer service representative and warehouse team if there are any discrepancies with shipments. Must have Microsoft Office knowledge.

Requirements

  • Reading, writing, and basic math skills are needed for this job
  • Must be computer literate. Must have knowledge of Microsoft AX, Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Must be able to problem-solve to make sure that customers are satisfied
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with other employees and management
  • Knowledge of Forklifts
  • Self-managing organization and time management skills
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Must be familiar with computer programs including Microsoft AX, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Lifting; a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Carrying; a minimum of 50 lbs.
  • Pulling; 2 hours
  • Pushing; 3 hours
  • Reaching above shoulders
  • Walking; 8 hours
  • Standing; 8 hours
  • Kneeling; 4 hours
  • Bending; 6 hours
  • Climbing;6 hours
  • Operation of forklift, scissor lift, or other vehicle
  • Visual ability to distinguish colors
  • Hearing ability

Responsibilities

  • Set up delivery and customer pick up appointments
  • Confirm inventory on product before shipping
  • Respond to email in a timely manner
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors with the assignments for the Forklift drivers and other duties
  • Assist Warehouse Supervisors on any tasks needed
  • Request carriers for pre-loaded shipments and entering loads into TMS
  • Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management
  • Regular contact with other employees, Supervisors and Managers
  • Make decisions about how to correct situations and errors. Should keep Warehouse Supervisor informed of progress
