The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient and accurate movement of fertilizer products (both liquid and dry) across the supply chain. This entry-level position will coordinate order processing, logistics planning, and internal support activities to ensure timely delivery and operational efficiency. Working closely with the Sales Team, terminals, suppliers, and carriers, the coordinator will help manage the flow of goods from order placement through delivery and invoicing. This role provides an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in supply chain and logistics management within the fertilizer industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in logistics coordination, order management, or a similar operations role preferred, but not required—preferably in the agriculture, chemical, or fertilizer industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities across departments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Business Central or similar) preferred but not required.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the placement, processing, and tracking of fertilizer orders from start to finish, maintaining accurate records through ERP systems and spreadsheets.
  • Serve as a liaison between the Sales Team, suppliers, terminals, and carriers to ensure efficient product movement and resolve any delivery or shipment issues.
  • Support continuous improvements in logistics processes while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor fertilizer inventory levels at terminals and proactively address potential shortages or scheduling conflicts.
  • Review and reconcile shipment and invoice discrepancies in coordination with accounting and vendors.
  • Prepare and distribute reports on fertilizer movements, performance metrics, and terminal activity
