About The Position

As a Logistics Coordinator supporting the Fleet & Logistics team, planning and organizational skills are crucial. This position plays an active role in collaborating with our shops and field project teams to coordinate and track both third-party (3PL) and internal delivery operations of materials, tools, and equipment sent to Ahern’s jobsites. The Logistics Coordinator assists with delivery driver log compliance and preventative maintenance coordination and tracking for Ahern’s internal delivery trucks and trailers. In addition to playing a key role in tracking and processing performance metrics and benchmarks related to the logistics operation, this role also supports ongoing fleet and logistics process improvement projects.

Requirements

  • Self-starter
  • Excellent decision-making, organizational, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work well independently as well as with team members
  • High school diploma
  • One or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

  • Prior exposure to supply chain, transportation, vehicle maintenance, logistics, or regulatory compliance fields
